In a short space of time, Girls' Day Out has become a much anticipated event amongst ladies across the UK. Last year attracted more than 17,000 visitors over three days. Due to the event's success, it’s expanding to another three locations – Edinburgh, Birmingham and Manchester.

Celebrating its fourth birthday, it originally started in Glasgow, over the years gaining momentum through word of mouth. Held in the vast SECC, the event exhibits new and exciting products and services. The exhibitors are being kept under wraps for now, but with over 200 exhibitors such as Kurt Geiger, House of Fraser and Boots descending last year, it’s safe to say we can expect more big names. This year promises to be the best yet.
Girls' Day Out is an eclectic mix of health, beauty, lifestyle and fashion. There’s a whole host of demonstrations so you can get the best tips. Walking from stall to stall is hard work, so why not take a break and indulge yourself at the champagne, cocktail or wine bar?

To be your beautiful best, you could also treat yourself to a makeover at the make-up, hair and nail theatre. Girls' Day Out has launched a model search in association with Colours Agency and Select Model Management. You could be joining Agyness Deyn and The Saturdays on the agency’s list of representatives. They will be looking across all four locations for the brightest talent and next big thing to strut their stuff. The winner receives an exclusive modelling contract.

The Girls' Day Out stand will also have professional models giving tips on how to walk like supermodels and pose for a flawless photo. Or you can watch the experts at work as the latest trends in fashion are displayed on the catwalk.

Every lady will be presented with a goody bag full of treats. You’ll get two drink vouchers to be redeemed at the cocktail bar, beauty products worth £20 and a £10 voucher to spend at Yamolo.com to treat yourself some more! You’ll also get free entry into the lavish Corinthians Club in Glasgow.

Glasgow is well connected and makes the perfect short getaway. There are many hotels in Glasgow to choose from, but it would be worth staying in the city centre so you have easy access to the best shops, bars and restaurants. Glasgow is one of Europe’s top shopping destinations after all.
Girls Day Out comes to the SECC on April 20th-22nd.
